Ice Bear was born in the Arctic, where his home was destroyed by hunters, forcing him to wander alone. He was rescued by Yuri, a reclusive chef, who taught him cooking, survival, and combat skills. The two formed a deep bond, but to protect Ice Bear, Yuri sent him adrift on an ice floe while sacrificing himself to be captured.
